AUTHOR'S GUIDELINE

The NIPR, South-East Zone Nigeria, publishes South-East Journal of Public Relations. The Institute is therefore calling for well researched and professionally-written and incisive articles to be considered for publication in the journal. South-East Journal of Public Relations is a refereed or
peer-assessed journal that provides a credible forum for expanding frontiers of knowledge, theories, research interface, best practices and skills in all functional areas of Public Relations in Nigeria and beyond in a fast changing, competitive and globalising economy.
Guidelines for Submission of Papers for Publication in the Journal

  • All articles must be scholarly, original, well-researched and well referenced.
  • The paper should border on communication or communication-related fields such Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Business Communication, Organisational Behaviour, ICTs, etc.
  • The papers must not be have been submitted to any other academic/professional text or journal for publication.
  • The paper should be typed, double-spaced for the main work and single line spacing for quotations and submitted in a flash or CD writer (MS word) with two hard copies.
  • An abstract of not more than 200 words is mandatory
  • The first page of the paper should contain the title of the paper, followed by the name and relevant particulars of the author(s).
  • In order to preserve anonymity in the reviewing and/or blind referencing, please do not put the name(s) of the author(s) on any of the pages in the text of the paper.
  • References should be cited in the text using the APA style, 6th edition, and listed in alphabetical order on a separate page at the end of the article.
  • Copies of maps, charts etc. should be submitted in a form suitable for reproduction in the normal size of the journal.
  • The paper, including references should exceed 20 pages of A4 size paper.
  • Publication charges: Authors whose papers will be accepted for publication will be required to contribute N15,000 (fiftenen thousand naira only) for each paper to be published and will be entitled to a copy of such publication. However, the author(s) of a paper shall also pay a nonrefundable blind review fee of N5,000 (five thousand naira only) before the paper will be sent out for peer review.
